Family Wild & Wellbeing at Grizedale: Stick Man!

10am - 1pm Thursday 25th July: Stick Man

The session starts with yoga and somatic storytelling of this modern classic story in the Yan, then we shall go out into the woodlands to explore and complete forest school style tasks and activities connected with the story. Further songs and storytelling around the campfire with a campfire lunch, treats and snacks!

An amazing morning of adventure in the forest leaving whole family feeling great in body and mind; adventure together, relax together, play together.

Family sessions are aimed at children over 4 and under 11, but you are welcome to bring older/ younger children if you feel this is something they would enjoy.

£15 children (additional children £12) £7 adults; includes, drinks, campfire lunch and snacks and equipment.

The yoga session takes place in The Yan, near the carpark, which is where we shall start the session. Please wear clothes you can move freely in as well as waterproofs, lots of layers and wellies or boots for the outdoor part of the session.

Nes is a qualified and experienced forest school leader, yoga teacher (children and adults), yogic mindfulness teacher, yoga therapist, play for peace facilitator, primary school teacher, somatic trauma therapist and trainee child psychotherapist. She has an abundance of experience in working with children, adult groups and families, planning fun and engaging sessions for all to enjoy.
