An opportunity to spend a nurturing day in the beautiful Lake District.
Sunday 12th May. 10.30am - 4.30pm. National Trust Footprint, Windermere, Lake District.
Part of you wants to take time to relax, practice yoga and meditate. Another part wants to play, express yourself and have fun and adventure. Silva Sisters days bring these together.
Each workshop we energise, recharge and nurture ourselves through the practice of mindful yoga, relaxation and forest bathing; taking this newfound energy to explore our playfulness and self-expression and use tools to find a deep nature connection. Methods include mindful walking, bushcraft, campfire cooking, woodland crafts, exploration and some 8 shields methods. They are brought together in a hearty soup of active meditation and celebration.
In the May workshop our additional focus will be foraging for natural dyes, dyeing and ecoprinting on fabric and making some hand stitched items with the fabric.
Connection the goal, stillness the base, aliveness the path.
All women welcome.
Hearty soup, bread and cake are provided however, participants are encouraged to also bring a little vegan food to add to the lunch to share in a Jacob's Join (ideas of things to bring include: hummous, olives, salad, crackers etc).
Investment £55/ £40 concession.
One £10 ticket is available each session for someone experiencing financial hardship e.g. unwaged (and unable to claim benefit) that would otherwise not be able to attend. This is on a first come first served basis/ no questions asked about your situation. Please email to check whether this place is still available for the session you wish to attend.
